Where: Charleston, SC
When: April 2018
Stayed: The Beach Club
Charleston is such an amazing place, and we were lucky enough to return this past weekend in partnership with The Beach Club and Garnet Hill. I shared our stay below, and am wearing Garnet Hill linen head to toe! (All items linked at the bottom of the post). The perfect pieces for exploring this beautiful city.
If you didn’t already see it on Instagram, they are sending one lucky winner (and their luckier plus one) on their own Southern vacation. The giveaway includes airfare, a three night stay with dinner, the cashmere wrap above and an additional $500 gift card to Garnet Hill. You can enter here – and in the meantime, more from our time in Charleston below.
After a paleta and coffee stop at Sugar Bakeshop, we checked into the beautiful Beach Club.
Sunset out on the harbor was so beautiful, with a cool breeze and gently lapping water.
The next morning, we headed towards King Street to explore. The Beach Club offers a complimentary water taxi and shuttle, making it super easy to go back and forth. We grabbed breakfast at The Harbinger Cafe, then wandered down to the Marion Square Farmer’s Market. We then walked through the Historic Market, down to the water and Rainbow Row, and back up Meeting Street. Lunch was at Revelry Brewing, with a cold Saison, fresh sushi and Japanese mozzarella sticks!
We spent the afternoon walking along the beach on the Isle of Palms, and then grabbed sunset back at The Beach Club‘s pool. Dinner was at the Fish House (included in the giveaway!), and was so delicious!
On our last morning, we soaked up some sun by the pool, then stopped by Edmund’s Oast for lunch and a beer (sour cherry pineapple for me, a juicy IPA for Matty). Then it was two iced lattes from my favorite Charleston coffee shop, The Daily, and off to the airport. Until next time, Charleston!
