Panama City Beach

This past weekend, we were lucky enough to visit some of the most beautiful beaches in the country down in Panama City Beach, Florida.  Along with a whole bunch of other beautiful families, we swam, sunned, spotted dolphins and roasted s’mores next to the turquoise coast. I am so thrilled to have been a part of this trip with Travel Mindset and Visit Panama City Beach, and we are already missing those miles of white sand. See more of #instameetPCB here!

We stayed in the Holiday Inn Resort, and it was the most beautiful location, right on the beach! They had delicious cocktails, outdoor movies in the pool, and other thoughtful touches like complimentary swim diapers for the babes. Our room and view reminded me so much of Waikiki – nothing like the ocean at your footsteps!

Our first day in Panama City Beach, we took a pontoon boat out to Shell Island, a pristine stretch of white sand surrounded by crystal clear waters. The side we docked on was clear and calm, and we were so excited to dip Riley Ann in. A short path took you to the opposite side of the barrier island, where there was the most beautiful, untouched beach, without another person in sight. We could have happily spent an entire week camped out on this island, and would return in a moment.

Early evening, we stopped by Pier Park to walk the pier and explore the area. The craziest snack we tried was called Dragon’s Breath, and is the colorful, smoky treat below – it tasted just like Trix! Afterwards, we met up with all the other mamas and papas and kiddos down by the beach. Tacos and s’mores and a sunset – what could be better!

On Sunday, we went to Finn’s for breakfast, got a bit more sun, and stopped by Thomas’ Donuts on the way to the airport. What a weekend!
